Anti-Racist Book Club | Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents
Wednesday, January 27, 7 p.m. on Zoom
In this brilliant book, Isabel Wilkerson gives us a masterful portrait of an unseen phenomenon in America as she explores, through an immersive, deeply researched narrative and stories about real people, how America today and throughout its history has been shaped by a hidden caste system, a rigid hierarchy of human rankings. Beautifully written, original, and revealing, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents is an eye-opening story of people and history, and a reexamination of what lies under the surface of ordinary lives and of American life today.
To join the conversation, please purchase the book on your own and register here.

The Brahms Institute for Singers
How do we keep our voices strong while singing together is impossible? How do we keep our musical minds in gear? How do we stay connected with fellow singers? More importantly, how do we follow God's leading right now?
One answer to all of these questions is The Brahms Institute for Singers—an extraordinary opportunity for all singers, reconvening on Thursday, January 21 at 7 p.m. on Zoom!
Our focus for the spring term is self-care for musicians—breathing, posture, keeping the voice moving, and finding strength and peace through great music. Please register below to reserve your spot and to receive the Zoom link each week.
