COVID-19 Response Update
Services at Gary Church are livestreamed each week and recorded for later viewing. Members and guests are invited to sign in and join us online.
Limited appointment-only office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The building will remain locked. Upon entering door 5, there will be a check-in/screening area and hand sanitizing station.
Groups of 10 or fewer may meet in limited, designated spaces and will need to be scheduled through the Church Office. Funerals/weddings of 10 or fewer (including pastors and ushers) may also be scheduled through the Church Office. All gatherings must follow strict safety guidelines outlined on the Gary Health Team page.
The safety guidelines must be applied contextually with discernment. What might be safe for one group or one individual may not be safe for another. Before scheduling anything in-person, keep in mind John Wesley’s rule of “Do No Harm.” As the conditions in Illinois change with the coronavirus, these guidelines may change.
